Almost Perfect

My life was almost perfect

When you were in my heart

I am blest I have everything

I have nothing more to ask.

There's a food on our table

Our hearts were filled with love

We are blest we have our son

We have nothing more to ask

Then a storm came in our midst

We were doomed and I couldn't save you

So we drifted away

And now I'm all alone

Why have you left me

What did I do wrong

I am not a perfect person

But at least I'm standing still
